**The Role**

The In-house Recruiter provides management in the collaboration between HR and the hiring managers to lead and support the growing recruitment needs and identifying current and future hiring needs.

The In-House Recruiter will work alongside the HR & Administration Manager in an integrated approach to all recruitment matters and help manage the entire recruitment lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**
- Effectively collaborate with hiring manager/s to create job adverts for current openings, identifying and determining competency and skills criteria
- Build talent pipeline and focus on long-term plans
- Understand the company culture and fit
- Hire to retain
- Provide vacancy status reports to hiring manager and HR Manager
- Analyse turnover and retention rates to forecast trends and hiring needs and provide MI to key stakeholders
- Robust understanding of GDPR and the management and compliance of personal information
- Participate in job fairs or relevant forums to boost company reputation and grow network
- Assist with onboarding new hires

**Capabilities and Attributes** - this individual must have:

- Proven experience as an Internal or In-house Recruiter, Recruiter or similar role
- Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting
- Strong experience with recruitment technology for project management, tracking applicants and managing the full lifecycle recruitment process
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
- Discerning eye for talent
- Strong, demonstrable IT skills, particularly Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Visio etc
- An aptitude for learning new systems.
- A keen eye for detail and confidence dealing with data.
- The ability to take instruction and fulfil the tasks independently or collaboratively as required.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise conflicting demands.
- Great team ethic and a motivated, positive attitude.

**Place of Work**

**Remuneration and Hours**
- The role is part-time, based on 2 days per week or 15-20 hours
- Basic salary will be based on experience in the region of £22k - £25k, with commission for successful placements

**Additional information**

Any additional training will be provided, as needed.

It is important to note that the Smarden office is in a rural location and only accessible by car, therefore the individual must have a reliable means of transportation and the ability to commute for those days.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
