Join our team as a Domiciliary Care Assistant and help us to provide much needed care and companionship to people who really appreciate it. You could be preparing a meal, doing some laundry, assisting somebody with their medication or any umber of other activities. You can help people to live more rewarding and independent lives in the comfort of their own homes.
Former care experience is not essential. The needs of each individual vary, but being a friendly face and somebody to chat to is a constant. If you live in the Barnet area of London and you would like a rich and varied working week, please read on.

**What you get as a Domiciliary Care Assistant**
As a Full Time Domiciliary Care Assistant working with Rivendell Care, you will receive:

**Role of Domiciliary Care Assistant**
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant you'll get to know the people you care for and:
- Provide companionship to help brighten someone's day.
- Help with mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
- Assist with housework.
- Prepare meals.
- Share activities like reading, taking somebody out or getting involved with their hobbies.,
- Help with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet.
- Help during times of illness with bed nursing, feeding, medication, etc.
- Care for service users who are palliative.
**Domiciliary Care Assistant Job Requirements**
- Authorised to work in the UK
- Care experience (professional or personal) is preferred but not essential
- A clean DBS check (provided at time of hiring)

- Probation period is 3 months. Salary during probation will be £10.60ph and £21.20 p/h on Bank Holidays
