**Total Loss Advisor (Customer Account Executive)**

**What will I be doing as a Customer Account Executive?**

**What are the salary and hours?**

A competitive annual salary of £18,000 - £22,000 is on offer (depending on experience) with great company benefits. The role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. This will be a mixture of work from home and the office. Full trainingis provided.

We are a multi-award-winning insurance group with a local office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. We support over 1,000 broker partners and more than 3 million policyholders with a wide variety of insurance products covering Home, Motor, Pet, and Travel insurance.

**What will I be doing day-to-day?**
- Negotiation and settlement of pre-incident valuations of motor vehicles (car, bike, commercial or other specialist vehicles)
- Processing total loss claims in accordance with claims philosophy
- Proactively manage your own workload as you will be expected to progress claims where multi-tasking and prioritisation is key to delivering a great customer experience.
- Perform within departmental targets, internal and external SLA's
- Undertake other reasonable responsibilities as required

**What do I need to be successful in the role?**
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Calm, considered and pragmatic approach to dealing with workload and customers
- Ability to manage adversarial situations
- Ability to negotiate and influence and resolve difficult conversations with customers
- Ability to prioritise and organise workloads
- Insurance claims and systems experience (desirable)
- General knowledge and interest in motor vehicles (required)
- General understanding of insurance principles and practices(required)
