**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for client’s safety and dignity.
- Supervise care staff on a day-to-day basis and through formal supervision processes.
- Maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
- Ensure the ongoing safety of clients ‘and staff through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
- Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour, and professional appearance.
- Support new care staff in the completion of induction programs, training and competency assessment.
- Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
- Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.

**Hours**:Our core shifts are from 7am - 2pm and 4pm - 9.30pm, and split shifts are from 7am - 12pm and 4pm - 9.30pm. We can be flexible with your shifts, as long as they fit with our clients requirements. You would be required to work alternate weekends and participate in the on-call rota (one day in the week and one weekend of the month Fri-Mon). You may also be required to work with other senior staff and deputise for the RM in their absence - with training and once you feel confident.
**Salary**:From £25.8k per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications in care (37.5 hours FTE), plus mileage at 35p per mile.

- Qualified in NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
- Experienced in working with older people.
- Knowledgeable of the care planning process and have experience of writing person centred care plans.
- Experienced in leading others on shift and working collaboratively.
- Committed to ensuring that older people are respected and honoured as individuals and are cared for with dignity, respect, kindness and understanding.
- A passionate advocate of quality services, caring, respectful, friendly, compassionate, and warm.
- Committed to demonstrating a high standard of personal and professional behaviour and puts core values and ethics into practice. You treat all people with dignity and respect, promoting equality and diversity in all its forms.

Pay: £24,900.00-£28,000.00 per year
