Wireman / Wirewomen

Are you an experienced wire person/mechanical fitter looking for your next position? After a role with long-term prospects with exciting projects? Then look no further You could be working for an ever-expanding telecommunications company in Waterlooville.

You will be able to use your previous experience of performing wiring including but not limited to, wiring control panels looms, data cabinets and all relevant wiring terminations. You would also need to be competent in performing various mechanical assemblyprocesses, so you should know how to use some hand tools. Experience in crimping, harnessing and looming will all count very much in your favour, as would experience with hand and air tools.

As an experienced wire person and mechanical fitter, it goes without saying that you will be able to work from engineering drawings and any qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential; your experience is key

Main Duties:

- Assembling telecoms cabinets
- Testing of the units
- Looming, crimping, wiring
- Quality Inspection
- Following complex schematics
