Our Client is the UK’s biggest commercial vehicle fleet management business with over 65 garages and looking after a fleet of 80,000 vehicles, they look after clients such as BT, the Post Office, the AA, and many more
They are offering an exciting opportunity for an **LCV Mechanic** to join the team based at their **Worcester** workshop on a full-time permanent basis, these are Monday to Friday day shifts (no weekends).
At the **Worcester** workshop, as an **LCV Mechanic**, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle repairs, this will include inspection, maintenance, repair, and service of all types of mechanical assets.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair, and installation
- Overhaul electrical equipment and components
- Welding and metalworking (if authorised)
- Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment (if authorised)
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (when suitably qualified)
- Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details
- Required to carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Ideally, be qualified as an **LCV Mechanic** to a minimum of NVQ **Level 3** or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance Repair
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work within given timeframes
- Ability to tackle all aspects of vehicle repair and servicing
- Diagnostics skills are desirable
