**Salary: Grade 6 (£28,762 - £34,308 p.a. pro rata, depending on experience)**

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY), hosted by the University of Leeds, is a partnership of 13 Higher Education Providers in West Yorkshire, is looking to appoint a confident and responsible individual to support the success of our Office for Students funded Uni Connect Programme (UC). UC seeks to support young people and adults to progress into higher education through collaborative outreach activity. This includes identifying and addressing issues around progression to Higher Education for learners living in areas where progression is low overall, and particularly low when GCSE attainment is taken into account.

With responsibility for a portfolio of schools and colleges, you will provide ongoing supervision, support and guidance to our Progression Officers and relevant education and careers professionals who are based in schools and colleges. The support you provide will cover guidance on activities, events, funding, monitoring and project reporting to meet UCs aims and objectives.

You will identify opportunities for collaborative working between schools, colleges, external stakeholders and Higher Education Providers, particularly in relation to work with underrepresented groups in Higher Education. You will drive uptake of GHWY resources, ensuring these remain current, taking into account changes in the education landscape.

You will help ensure the effective involvement of key stakeholders in the project and work within the wider team to set, progress and meet project targets and objectives. You will bring your knowledge and experience of working with and overseeing the activity of education professionals and young people in schools/ academies/colleges, and of Higher Education, to develop innovative and effective activity to help meet project targets.

The post will be based in the Go Higher West Yorkshire team, and will involve a combination of working at the University of Leeds campus and working at home, but will require the holder to work on a flexible basis, including travel to alternative locations across West Yorkshire which may not be well served by public transport and some evening/weekend work.
