We are currently recruiting for a Quality Management Specialist within Drug Discovery to join our team in Alderley Park. This is a great opportunity for some who has an interest in Quality, building relationships and continuous improvement.

Role: Quality Management Specialist
Salary: Competitive Salary plus excellent benefits
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities will include:
- Develop the quality culture on site and promote continuous improvement through an appropriate communication and training plan.
- Support the implementation of Good Reseach Practice (GRP) in scientific functions.
- Ensure a good understanding of quality operational needs, assist in identifying and analysing quality risks and provide necessary guidance.
- Identify applicable quality regulations or internal requirements and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with other site quality managers to ensure consistency in the QMS and identify synergies and opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive quality activities under the Discovery Quality Management System (QMS):
- Manage quality documentation according to the company instructions.
- Contribute to the preparation of the site audit plan and perform internal quality audits.
- Prepare and support customer audits or regulatory inspections, ensure appropriate actions are implemented to address findings.
- Facilitate appropriate investigation of quality issues and the handling of customer complaints.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) resulting from audits, inspections or investigations.
- Monitor and analyse quality indicators and implement appropriate action plans.
- Report significant progress or issues to the site management team.
