At Positive Steps Specialist Care Services - We support People with Learning Disabilities. We require an experienced Senior Support Worker in our children's residential service located in the City Centre. This is a small friendly home Graded GOOD in all areas by OFSTED.

We are expanding our team and are looking someone who can deliver our ethos and who is a genuinely caring and hands on individual. This registered service supports individuals within their own home and local community.

As a Senior Support Worker you will be assisting children to lead independent and fulfilling lives and leading and supporting staff by example. The people we support are at the heart of all we do. A big part of your role will be supporting children to do their favourite things and try new activities, ensuring compliance to our regulators and that Care Plans are implemented and updated. You will play a key role in keeping children safe and developing support staff and the service itself. We ensure our children reach their full potential and of course we will make sure that you reach yours. **Must Have at least 2 years superviser/Team leadership and NVQ Level 3.**

Across our services we support people to do various activities such as bowling, swimming, going to the cinema, and on days out to the coast, so it might not feel too much like work We are looking for a Senior Support Worker / Team Leader with **previous experience** who can hit the ground running. However, we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support.

You will join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.
