Here at Birmingham Community Leisure Trust we are recruiting for a Community Engagement Officer. This is an exciting brand new role which will see you reporting to the Deputy Partnership Manager to offer more than just exercise at our Birmingham leisure centres.

You will help Birmingham Community Leisure Trust offer more by considering leisure centres as community hubs where people can meet and form relationships.

Based within various leisure centres in Birmingham you will identify opportunities for activities that will utilise team members and available space to provide closed and accommodating sessions. You will be the communities main point of contact to book in for activities, collaborating with our onsite teams to guide our customers through the booking process and give them the best possible service.

You will be surrounded by like minded individuals who will share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities.

**What you'll need to do the role**

Using your track record of initiating, developing and managing positive stakeholder relationships you will report back to our clients and trust on our achievements.

It is essential that you have the access to transport as you will be required to travel between our facilities.

Qualifications and experience within community development and/or leisure are desired.
