**.Net Developer | £500/day - £700/day | Immediate Start | London & Remote**

**We are looking to hire a team of Developers, initially for a 6-month contract, renewal on a 2-year program. This is a hybrid-working contract with an expectation of being in a London based office a couple of times a week - however, our client-partnerwill also consider full remote working.**

**We have various roles with the need for C#,.Net Core, and Python experts and any Docker experience & capability is a plus.**

**Just so you are aware, several recent interviewees failed to answer basic questions in C# and SQL.**

**TECHNOLOGY**:
The team is focused on designing, integrating and supporting systems for Middle and Front office. Its calculation engine leverages supercomputing concepts and runs on a Microsoft HPC Server Grid. The infrastructure uses a combination of technologies including **MS SQL Server**, **C#**, **Grid** and **Cloud Computing**

**SKILLS**:
Developers highly competent with **C# **and **.Net Core Web API **Practical experience of **Azure Data Lake**, **Docker**, **TeamCity**, **Jira**, **GitHub**, **Visual Studio** are likely to receive an
immediate interview request

Experience of working in an investment banking (or similar) technology environment would be desirable.

**ADDITIONAL**:

- Experience with Extend Credit Risk Calculators.
- Upgrade legacy **codebase to.Net core**.
- Perform rigorous **testing of codebase**.
- Performance** tuning**.

**This is an immediate job opportunity for contractors with strong decision-making skills, and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.**

**Financial knowledge or having worked for investment banks - with any financial instrument knowledge would be a bonus.**

**Experience of interacting with quantitative users to resolve complex business problems and strong problem-solving skills, numerical skills and an analytical mind-set will hold you in good stead.**
