**Job Title: Scientific Editor (Medical Communications)**

A people-focused, flexible medical communications agency who offer you the option of working a 4 day week are looking for a Scientific Editor to join their collaborative team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. They are highly innovative and strategic, workingon a range of therapy areas including oncology, respiratory, ophthalmology and many more You will also have the option or working remotely or going into the office.

**Scientific Editor Role**

Within this role, you will be required to:

- Work on a range of projects involving reviewing, copy editing and production editing training materials, slide kits, website content, digital materials, transcriptions, conference abstracts/posters, outputs of advisory boards and scientific symposia, andmore
- Support writers with reference management and journal research
- Attend client and agency meetings, where necessary
- Input in meetings and project development
- Demonstrate competence and initiative when managing any issues relevant to the editorial function and suggesting solutions
- Work with other team members to agree timelines and project plans

**Scientific Editor Essential Experience**
- Track record of producing written scientific content to a high standard
- Interest in developing client-facing skills and managing your own projects
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Proficient in the use of standard software including Microsoft Office.
