**Job Description Summary**:

- To manage and control the flow of engine and single item components through CNI (Clean, NDT, Inspect) to ensure consistent flow of material. Goal is to greatly improve the efficiency and productivity of the section to achieve target completion dates.
- Transportation of components and barrows between Clean, NDT and Inspection to ensure constant flow of material to achieve target completion dates.
- Control the use of WIP lanes and improve procedures for barrow identification.
- Aid in the location of components misplaced during CNI transportation.
- Assist with the supply of consumable material from the stores into CNI.
- To liaise with lead mechanics, cell leader and customer cell on relevant communication issues.
- Attend production meetings, update on material progress and provide early notification of flow issues, bottlenecks, etc.
- Assist in the update and maintenance of the production reports.
- Champion LEAN to ensure that every opportunity to drive improvement is exploited.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- A good level of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Web Based portals).
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
- Ability to prioritise and manage jobs efficiently.
- Good working knowledge of material handling procedures.
- Demonstrate good judgment, interpersonal skills and initiative.
