With business interests across the healthcare sector, property management and other related business units, they are each in a period of high growth. This Group have a proven track record of taking fledgling businesses and evolving them to being highly successful. With a proven track record spanning many years across the sectors they operate, they are now seeking a high calibre Head Of Finance to support future growth with the expectation to become Finance Director. Reporting to the owner and COO, this position will manage the group finance whilst developing and supervising a finance department of 9. With a focus on developing the commercial financial data this is a lead role in a highly astute, dynamic group of businesses which make a positive impact across the UK to peoples lives and wellbeing.

Your new role as Head of Finance:
As Head of Finance you shall enjoy a varied, hands-on role. Developing commercial reporting you will remain a key senior member of the management team whilst being responsible for the review and completion of month/year end accounts. Office based with parking on-site you shall work closely with stakeholders across the businesses developing financial understanding, driving profitability through awareness and business/stakeholder partnering. You shall enhance process and develop the team to establish timely and accurate monthly/yearly accounting and add value to the decision making process in a dynamic, fast paced environment. With the ability to formulate a strategic long-term business plan, you shall spearhead change whilst ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.

Main Role Duties:

- Manage and develop a team of 9 in the finance function
- Review and completion of detailed Management Accounts and associated reporting for each of the entities in the group with the support of a strong finance function.
- Year-end accounting and support to the audit process
- Budget and forecast management with stakeholder engagement
- Due diligence on future business ventures
- Liaison with the bank and outsourced resources
- Ongoing development of process and procedure

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:
To be considered you shall be CIMA /ACCA/ ACA qualified with strong technical skills and a proven track record of adding value in a lead finance role. With experience of developing qualified staff you shall be technically strong and be able to develop financial reporting to add commercial value. With excellent attention to detail, a proven ability to work under pressure and with experience of working with extremely confidential and highly sensitive information, you shall be proficient at developing strong working relationships across an organisation
