**Job Summary**

We are a Coffee House by day & evening Tapas bar (fri/sat evening), seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/server to join our vibrant team. This position is aimed at leading to a Supervisory role where you will be responsible for the running of the site.

Your role will also be floor based, as this position requires both at times, aswell as your rota including 1-2 evenings per week when necesaary as we re-open 6-late for Tapas

The bulk of hours required are Weds to Saturday (saturday daytime essential).

During quiet times, you will be required to pitch in with loading and unloading the dishwasher.

As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that each guest enjoys an exceptional experience.

There is no training for a Barista role, we expect you to have been previously trained.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene regulations.
- Engage with customers to take orders accurately and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential. Service training will be provided but as mentioned, you should be experienced in great coffee making. A good understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
- Time management skills will help you thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of service.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
