Commis Waiter

The Oak Barn Restaurant is a privately owned, family run, 150 cover bar & restaurant situated in Mid-Sussex, close to Haywards Heath & Burgess Hill.

We are currently one of the top-rated restaurants in Sussex and are currently looking for a Waiting Server/ Bar Staff to join our talented team to continue providing fantastic quality fresh dishes.

Our freshly made seasonal menu is key to our business. It features modern British cuisine that combine the classics alongside more contemporary dishes. We also run specials which change daily.

In addition to this we also cater for large group bookings, weddings, and buffets so there is always plenty of variety.

**Your role**
- Responsible for taking orders & making recommendations to delight our guests
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health & safety standards
- Assisting management in driving sales
- Providing guests with excellent customer service
- Act as a final check on quality & standard of all aspects of the business
- Learning many aspects of running the business

Part-time hours: 15-40 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£13.00 per hour
