An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join a well-established specialist Domiciliary Care support service provider. The company provides an individualised care package to support and enable people to maintain theirindependence and in the comfort of their own homes.
As the Deputy Care Manager, you will act as a positive role model for the rest of the care staff, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered on a constant basis. You will carry out routine and bespoke tasks to ensure the service is compliant in the regulatoryrequirements of the CQC.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*To support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management, operation and administration of the Service.
*To support the Registered Manager to promote and grow the business ensuring a sufficient number of staff at all times.
*To ensure the delivery of quality, person-centered care for every client.
*To maintain high quality standards, and ensure that the branch is compliant with health and safety regulations.
*Liaise with external professionals, individuals and families as required to ensure that the needs of the people supported are reviewed.
*To ensure any regulatory activity, such as care plans, risk assessments, referrals is recorded correctly via care management system.
*To manage the staff team, and support the development of their skills, and abilities
*To support the Team in covering care calls in an emergency/ sickness absence ensuring care does not break,
*Expected to participate in the on-call
*Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications and experience required:
*You should have a minimum NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care Qualification.
*At least 2 years of management experience in a domiciliary setting
*Sound knowledge of CQC rules and regulations and to remain compliant.
*Must hold a clean, valid driver’s licence due to the nature of the job.
*Confident to supervise a team and managing others in a care environment.
*Ability to work on own initiative and be able to prioritise your duties.

*Analytical, attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
*Excellent customer service skills
*IT proficient and able to use computerised roster systems
*Good knowledge Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud surrounding areas
