**Position Overview**

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional **Door Supervisor** to join our team on a weekly basis at a popular pub in Sleaford, NG34. This role will require you to work **Fridays and Saturdays from 22:00 to 03:00** to ensure the safety and security of patrons and staff during peak nightlife hours. As the Door Supervisor, you will be the first line of defense in maintaining order, enforcing the venue’s entry policies, and handling any situations with professionalism and discretion.

**Responsibilities**
- **Access Control**: Greet and screen guests at the door, checking IDs and ensuring only those who meet the venue’s entry criteria are allowed in.
- **Safety & Security**: Ensure the premises remain safe and secure by monitoring the crowd and identifying potential risks or disturbances before they escalate.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Manage any disputes or confrontations in a calm and professional manner, using de-escalation techniques where appropriate.
- **Crowd Management**: Monitor the flow of patrons to prevent overcrowding and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with bar staff, management, and fellow security personnel to ensure smooth operations and a secure environment.
- **Incident Reporting**: Accurately document any incidents, conflicts, or suspicious activity, reporting them to the management team as needed.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons and addressing any concerns or issues with a friendly yet professional approach.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Previous experience as a Door Supervisor or in a similar security role is desirable.
- **SIA License**: A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license is essential.
- **Excellent Communication**: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public, especially in high-pressure situations.
- **Flexibility**: Availability to work the required hours on Friday and Saturday nights, with a professional attitude and a proactive approach.
- **Reliable and Responsible**: Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of handling sensitive situations with tact and discretion.
- **Background Check**: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening process.
