Our Client is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to cover maternity leave within their business. Working in the Finance Department, the role will report to the Operations Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for reporting on a number of importantareas. The role is initially maternity cover but could lead to a permanent position.
Main duties of the role:

- Reporting the monthly expenditure for contracts and forecasting the costs for the rest of the year.
- Reporting and budgeting of internal cost centres which involves helping to construct the monthly reports that are distributed to the cost centre managers.
- Management of utility costs, checking bills, answering queries and contacting utility companies.
- Construct the monthly Marketing report to help the Marketing team understand their spend vs budget/forecasts.
- Responsibility for Capital Expenditure reporting to ensure the company does not overspend against the budget/forecast.
- Ad hoc support to Operations Accounting Manager.

Key skills and attributes required:

- Good level of numeracy skill
- Proficient user of Excel
- Clear communicator
- Ability to work and deal with people at all levels of the business
- Ability to interact confidently with external suppliers such as utility companies
- Detailed and organised
- PC Skills: Knowledge of working with Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Sheets will be a plus.
