**The Role**:
To help manage the workload of the team, help manage relevant projects to meet agreed deadlines and provide direct support to the team in all aspects of their roles and accountabilities.

**Responsibilities**:
1) Maintain a detailed understanding of the current position, next intended action, and milestones measured against the desired outcome of relevant projects.

2) Ensure an outline awareness of the workload of the team and ensure workloads are regularly reviewed and updated.

3) Initiate and maintain a detailed diary system (both electronic and paper) for the team. Planning time ‘windows’ for projects and ensuring matters are brought forward in a prioritised manner into the appropriate action window.

4) Organise regular meetings for the team, draft minutes and check the team follow through on raised action points.

5) Help manage incoming telephone calls, where appropriate updating callers on present position, initiating action in response to telephone calls and prioritising action for the team.

6) Where applicable, open electronic and paper incoming post for the team, dealing with routine matters on own initiative in accordance with management plans and prioritising post for team action.

7) Act as a co-ordinator for team and ensuring all interested parties are kept updated and checking the team meet client and company expectations. Keep detailed notes.

8) Keep a watching brief on sources of technical interest, help identify and bring forward priority issues.

9) Research and prepare Powerpoint, xCenta and other presentations for the team to deliver both internally and externally.

10) Build relationships both internally and externally which can be relied upon to provide supportive assistance in resolving client / xCenta related issues.

11) Accompany members of the team to client / company meetings keeping detailed notes.

12) Help with technical assistance / administration of our on-line Health and Safety system, xCenta.

13) Maintenance, collation and production of statistical data.
