Due to **continued growth** the position of **Head of PMO** has become available to join a growing team based in **Maidenhead. **This will be on an 18 month fixed term contract.

Driving continuous improvement within the Portfolio Management Office, managing the Project Management team and liaising with stakeholder and Product owners across the business. This role will play a pivotal role in helping Costain achieve its strategic goals and deliver on the transformation plan’s objectives through day-to-day development and management of the company wide portfolio. The Head of CMO will sit within our Strategy & Transformation Team and will have oversight for all business change, continuous improvement and IT projects in our IT operations and Client delivery services. The role is an internal function for business change, systems and technology, supporting our corporate and project IT requirements.

This role will be based in Maidenhead with the option for dynamic working.

**Role Requirements**
- Extensive experience of managing a project and programme management team within medium to large scale organisations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of multiple project management methodologies, including both traditional (e.g., PMP/ MSP, ITIL, PRINCE2) and Agile methods.
- Proven leadership responsibility in managing cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders. (e.g. PMs, Bas and close involvement with C-suite)
- Lead transformation programmes and experience establishing a PMO funcion
- Able to build strong relationships through oral and written communication at all levels within an organisation
- Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
- Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
- Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
