Are you ready to rip up the “classroom” rhetoric and embrace a social workshop environment when training in person, teamed with a blended learning approach to service the L&D needs of your business?If so, you could be exactly who we are looking for, and could be the brand-new Learning & Development Partner tasked to ensure the consistent administration and delivery of L&D for Portico and Searcys.The L&D Partner will be overseer for the award-winning Portico Academy and the evolving Searcys Approach. With support from the Head of Learning, the role of L&D Partner will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be fully immersed in the complete learning cycle from training needs analysis to delivery and more Explore your creativity, as new ways of working are always welcome at Portico and Searcy. With both businesses, it is essential that all development opportunities are aligned with the company values and puts the learner at the heart of everything we do, setting them up for success as brand ambassadors for our companies as well as potential clients. Some of the key responsibilities of the L&D Partner are: -Everyday management and enquiries of our LMSDelivery of core Portico Academy workshopsPossibility of delivering Searcys Approach workshops, depending on experienceManaging and updating the Portico onboarding pathwayInternal/External Marketing of the development opportunities within Portico & Searcys Review and update content in accordance with learner feedback and industry trendsBuild strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the businessDesigning bespoke workshops for clients and prepare new proposals/campaignsProduce thorough monthly reports including ROI, engagement, and opportunities Manage both internal and external training costs through tracking methodsRaise and process invoices in a timely mannerBuild relationships with external providers and negotiate ratesRemain service focused, displaying a client facing manner to everything we actionOur new effervescent L&D partner will ideally have exposure to both the guest services and hospitality industries in an L&D capacity and possess a full understanding of the agility required to adapt to the ever-changing landscape. They will be an engaging and inspirational leader, with a good eye for detail and a proactive solution focused approach. The L&D Partner will effectively engage with others, creating a safe environment for everyone to thrive, and a unique ability to communicate fairly, and collaboratively to people at all levels.Other key requirements for the successful candidate are: -A passion for delivering training and overseeing the development of team membersAn ability to work to service level agreements and key performance indicatorsComfortable presenting data in a business environmentFlexibility to travel and stay overnight for regional tours Happy delivering interactive workshops both virtually and in personIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office specifically; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with AV/Virtual platforms such as Zoom Knowledge of SCORM/ xAPI authoring tools Knowledge of how to effectively manage and internally market an LMS to generate revenueWorking knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety processes and their implementation A working knowledge of apprenticeship programs Ultimately, the L&D Partner is to play a central role in a learning capacity and have a positive impact on the internal working environment of all Portico and Searcys team membersWhilst this is a hybrid working role, the successful candidate will be based out of our London Office and expected to travel regionally when required.So, what are you waiting for Apply today for the chance to discuss this exciting role with one of our recruitment team.
