ECO Simplified are an accredited Living Wage, professional administration business based in Richmond North Yorkshire.

Working directly with some of the largest energy suppliers in the UK, we administer claims for grant funded home-energy upgrades using ECO4 and GBIS funding, and are using this experience to diversify into the installation of retrofit home energy efficiency products,. We are looking for a full-time permanent Bid Writer to add to our growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform in-depth research and analysis to fully understand project requirements, specifications, and objectives as outlined in tender documentation or Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
- Draft, edit, and customize proposals to ensure they are fully compliant, highly persuasive, and tailored to meet specific tender requirements.
- Develop compelling content, including executive summaries, technical narratives, methodologies, and other key sections, ensuring a coherent and strategic message that emphasizes the company’s strengths and capabilities.
- Manage multiple proposals concurrently, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards for each submission.
- Maintain and continuously improve a comprehensive bid content database to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Review client feedback to implement improvements and refine future bid strategies based on lessons learned.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market insights, and regulatory updates to enhance the competitiveness and quality of proposals.

**Experience & Key Skills**:

- Proven experience completing tenders in the domestic retrofit industry demonstrating a successful track record of winning bids.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to conduct thorough research and analysis.
- Excellent written communication skills with an ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Able to demonstrate excellent proofreading skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in managing administrative tasks.
- Positive attitude with a drive for success.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and experience with Visio would be advantageous.
