**Bit about us**:
Garners News is a family, friendly professional delivery company, providing a newspaper delivery service to Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks areas.

**About the role**:
We are looking for 1 person to be part of our business. The role would be based around part delivery driver and part warehouse support. The position is based in our Eastbourne warehouse and as delivery driver covering round(s), in urban and rural locations.

**The duties expected within the role**:

- Regular round cover on specific days
- Assist with the mornings pack
- Packing inserts at weekends
- Put together rounds and shop packs ready for delivery
- Load van with deliveries required

**About you**:
Ideally you need to be enthusiastic, able to work on your own and be of physical fitness as the role will require getting in and out of the van frequently. Also be flexible enough to be able to do overtime and the potential to help cover other days of the week. Self-learning will be expected during deliveries. Guidance will be given when needed.

**The shifts**:
**The applicant required must**:

- Have your own car/transport to be able to get to work
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- When delivering, follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries
- Be prepared for a physical environment
- Be familiar with Health and Safety especially manual handling

**You will also need the following**:

- A clean full UK driving licence to prove the ability to drive and be over 25.
- Have had experience of doing night/early morning shifts
- Be of a physical fitness to perform with heavy lifting, as some bundles can be heavy
- Have a smart phone (iPhone/Android) with internet access
- Have reasonable knowledge of IT

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11,897.60-£14,872.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
