**Job description**:
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Offshore HSE&A Supervisor, based in Aberdeen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a challenge to ensure offshore activities comply with HSEA-related legislative requirements and company standards, systems and procedures.
- Promote and support a positive HSE&A culture.
- Promote and support control of risks to health, safety, environment and process safety.
- Conduct offshore compliance monitoring activities as required by the field evaluation plan and in support of company procedures.
- Conduct asset area inspections in line with the asset plan.
- Support the delivery of agreed HSEA related projects/initiatives/campaigns as required by the HSEA Plan.
- Discuss actual and potential HSE events with on and offshore teams and onshore HSE&A Team and system.
- owners. Agree action follow up and enter into relevant event tracking system for follow up and management.
- Coordinate weekly emergency response exercises and fulfil emergency response team roles as required, including the development and facilitation of the annual ER exercise schedule, ER debrief and action follow up.
- Ensure compliance with regulator guidance for spill response, including planning, organising and recording spill drills.
- Provide training & coaching and deliver HSE&A presentations as required.
- Support regulator inspections as necessary.
- Prepare material and present at fortnightly departmental HSE&A meetings.
- Promote the behavioural safety programme and assist in the continuing improvement of the programme.
- Facilitate the incident investigation process and provide coaching as may be required.
- Daily visibility at team briefs / toolbox talks & relevant meetings.
- Participate in worksite tours & report on the observation card system.
- Analysis of permit and isolation non-conformances.
- Monitoring actions to completion (incidents & audits).
- Supporting safety reps and environment reps.
- Promote major accident hazard awareness to the workforce.
- Provide support to non-standard operation risk assessment process.
- Provide end of trip handover, including progress against agreed activities.

Experience & Qualifications:

- relevant industry experience.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualified and/or IEMA environment Certificate or equivalent (preferably
- Registered or Chartered Practitioner)
- Experience supporting offshore operational activities.
- Experience of audit, monitoring & review of HSE&A management systems
- Thorough knowledge of UK HS&E legislation and supporting Industry Guidance and good practice
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
