We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join our busy Brewers Decorator Centre in Newbury. Providing exceptional service to our customers in branch, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch and it’s delivery service running smoothly - experience with our products isn't necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything you need to succeed.

Our Newbury Decorator Centre has recently located to a new unit but has been supplying the local area for over 40 years. The branch has a mixed retail and trade customer base and with our industry expertise and a great range of quality products, it’s no wonder we are known for being the first choice for decorating materials in the area Our friendly team is on hand to advise both the seasoned professional and home décor enthusiast with all of their technical queries and also give advice on the best product for the job. Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

pattern for this role will be - week one: Monday to Friday, week two: Tuesday to Saturday.

**As a Driver with Sales Advisor duties **for Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Make contactless deliveries to customers in and around the Cambridge area driving our Company Transit van
- Unload deliveries in the warehouse or branch and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store
- Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
- Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
- Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
- Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network when required
- Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service

**Who we are looking for**:

- Familiar with Cambridge and the surrounding area
- Full clean manual driving licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality
- Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to work as an individual at all times
- Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
- Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry
- Previous driving experience advantageous although not required
- Flexible and willing to cover at other local Brewers stores if needed
