A leading engineering and manufacturing business in Fakenham are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for their team. They have a state of the art facility, of which you'll become a valued member of the team, supporting on a wide rangeof projects relating to current and new equipment designs.

As part of your role, you'll be involved in:

- Creating designs and assembly drawings.
- Generating manufacturing drawings for production.
- Creating Bill Of Materials.
- Identify ways to improve product efficiency.
- Work closely with customers throughout the design project life cycle.
- Ensure projects of carried out and manufactured on time.
- Investigate areas for Continuous Improvement.
- Design experience from within Mechanical engineering, preferably with knowledge and understanding of fabricated assemblies, sheet metalwork and mechanisms.
- Ability to design variations from existing products.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD package.
- Knowledge LOLER and/or PUWER legislation (desirable)
