**Job Overview**
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their needs, providing product information, and ensuring the store is well-presented. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage your time efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our retail team. Some weekend working is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer queries.
- Fit riding helmets, footwear and body protectors.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display.
- Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times.
- Manage time effectively to balance customer service with merchandising tasks.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills in English.
- Excellent equestrian knowledge.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
- Computer literate.
- Physically fit enough to lift up to 25kg bags of feed.
- Proven organisational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
- Experience in merchandising is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy retail setting.
- Full driving licence and own transport.
- Able to work weekends.
