**Salary from £34,000 - £43,500 depending on experience**
**Equivalent to NHS Band 7**
**Hours: 37.5 Hours per week ( will consider part time working)**
We are looking for a driven, passionate and highly experienced Occupational Therapist who is committed to those who require our services and the staff in our teams. We want someone who is focussed on the quality and development of clinical outcomes, as wellas the overall management and leadership of the occupational therapy service within CAMHS.

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcareservices, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.
**CAMHS Division**
CAMHS is based in Smyth House on our Northampton site and has been designed to provide specialised care for the complex needs of young people with psychiatric, social, psychological and emotional difficulties some, in addition to a developmental disability.Bespoke therapy amenities include an animal courtyard, sensory integration room, a music and recording studio and therapy kitchens. Trauma informed care is firmly embedded into the Service as the philosophy of care. In addition to a full, well establishedDBT service.
The CAMHS division comprises of 3 10 bedded inpatient units, 2 mixed gender mental health low secure unit and 1 male developmental disability medium secure unit, for ages 13-18. Within the Occupational Therapy team we offer comprehensive treatment throughthe medium of meaningful occupation. Our aim is to equip patients with the life skills required to live a life worth living through improved health and wellbeing, independence, purpose and balance within their daily living.
**The Person and Role**
You will carry a caseload within our 10 bedded low secure mixed admissions ward with complex developmental trauma, complex mental health needs, some with additional autism spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour. You will contribute to a multi-disciplinaryclinical team; taking responsibility for a clinical caseload, and offering OT specific assessment and treatment to groups and individuals within your careto support young people in their recovery journey in preparation for community reintegration and discharge.
Alongside you clinical workload you will be responsible for a small OT team and the overall development of the occupational therapy service within CAMHS. You will provide leadership to the OT staff, contribute to CAMHS Senior Management Team discussionsand initiatives, represent OT and be accountable for OT outcomes within Clinical Governance frameworks. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop good professional relationships with your clinical teamand the wider senior leadership team.
