Reporting to the General Manager People & Capability, as the Senior People Partner, you’ll be responsible for supporting senior leadership to assess current culture and human resources processes, and where required, drive sustainable change to enhance business operations.

Due to the nature of the business area, whilst hybrid working is embraced, we’ll need you on site for at least part of each week. This role will be based in regional New South Wales (South Coast) and has been created in support of business growth.

**In terms of details, in this varied role you will**:
Contribute to the formulation and prosecution of human resources strategies

Develop and execute an appropriate business unit People Plan supporting employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle

Support the planning and execution of mergers and acquisitions and significant change management activities, where required

Provide hands-on, generalist human resources advice to business unit managers and employees to enable effective and compliant human resource operations

Deliver the human resources strategy into the business unit which delivers performance, cultural alignments, efficiency and engagement

Plan and execute the human resources calendar of activities for the business unit

Provide input on workforce and succession planning, performance management, remuneration, recruitment, reorganization and other decisions which impact the business unit

**As the ideal addition to our team, you’ll present with**:
Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, Advisor or HR Manager or similar generalist position working in both ‘blue’ and ‘white’ collared environments

Significant experience undertaking substantial change management activities and in developing and maturing human resources systems and processes

Strong experience building an organisational values based culture and brand that fosters high performance, inclusiveness, collaboration, trust and engagement.

Well-developed understanding of legislative requirements, NES, Modern Awards, workers compensation, federal and state employment laws and other human resources compliance obligations across national operations

Highly developed interpersonal skills, self-confidence with an ability to partner with and consult with leadership to align people initiatives to business needs

Whilst not essential, tertiary level qualifications in human resources or a relevant discipline and qualifications/experience in communications, change management or project management will be highly regarded as will experience in mergers and acquisitions.

Due to the nature of our work, you'll need to be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
