**Transport Planning Co-Ordinator, Essex, £25,000 + Benefits**

Are you an ambitious transport professional, with either experience in planning or a desire to get into planning? If so, we'd love to hear from you as we are recruiting an exciting opportunity.

Our client, based in Essex, is looking to recruit a Transport Planning Co-Ordinator to join a small but busy Transport operation. You will work Mon - Friday, typically starting at 6:30am/7am and report into the Transport Manager.

**What you'll be doing**
- Planning routes, work schedules and equipment as required by business needs
- Liaising with drivers and handling any driver emergency issues that arise on the roads
- Assist with fleet administration and organisation of MOT, vehicle servicing etc
- Support with inbound and outbound calls to clients & customers, providing updates on deliveries and quotes as needed
- Organising and third-party subcontract work as required
- Updating TMS and ensuring work is correctly allocated on the system

**What are we looking for?**
- Ideally you'll have some experience working in transport, either transport/ fleet admin or a background in transport planning itself
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a busy transport operation
