As a **Transport Planner**, you'll play a key role at the centre of our Network Planning Centre (NPC) the heart of Gist’s transport function.

**What will you do & what will you need**

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for planning products through the Gist network for well-known retailers. Strong communication skills will be vital to ensuring a solid relationship with depots and customers throughout the UK. Working in a fast paced environment, we encourage creativeness and thinking outside the box to ensure that efficient plans are created. Your responsibilities will entail tasks such as:

- Using the Paragon Software planning tool to produce efficient plans for our depots and associated customers, whilst adhering to strict service requirements
- Analysing plans to identify network opportunities to reduce costs, drive efficiency to minimise our environmental impact and maximise profits
- Working with the operational teams to facilitate the delivery of initiatives

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
