We have been manufacturing quality building products since 1819 when we opened our first clay brick factory in Vienna, Austria. Wienerberger are the world's largest producer of bricks and are No. 1 on the clay roof tiles market in Europe. Boasting 204 plants across 30 countries, our presence in the UK is currently larger than at any point in our 200 year history, employing c.1,300 people across our Head Office, 4 showrooms, 13 manufacturing sites and 6 distribution centres, and a further c.700 people across our 1 office and 3 manufacturing sites within BPD and FloPlast. We manufacture in excess of 400 products including bricks, roof tiles, construction membranes and piping solutions for the homebuilding, renovation and built environment markets, supported by our commitment to safety, quality and sustainability.

**Our Role**

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to be based at our Goxhill site in North Lincolnshire.

**What You'll Do**
- Operating and cleaning of machinery, operating FLT, along with other general duties. You will actively assist in the continued development of health and safety documents such as risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Carry out the necessary machinery operations or supported tasks in line with Company requirements which will include prep plant, extrusion, setting, dehacker and kiln. Training in basic QA skills will also be provided
- Follow all Standard Operating procedures (SOP’S) and assist in reviewing these when required
- Operate various pieces of factory machinery and equipment, reporting any problems regarding production immediately to your line manager
- Maintain a positive working atmosphere, by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with colleagues and perform any other duties as required

**What You'll Bring**
- Current / valid RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or CPCS forklift truck license with recent driving experience within the last six months
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Safety conscious
- Adaptable / flexible approach
- Team player
- Be able to carry out a broad range of tasks across all areas of the manufacturing process. Full guidance training will be given
- Operate various pieces of factory machinery and equipment whilst using the hazard and production issue reporting systems
- Must be literate as there is some paperwork involved
- An understanding of QA standards and the importance of consistent high quality in manufacturing
- Good general safety awareness
- Excellent attendance and time keeping
- Can do attitude and strive to meet higher targets
- Performing manufacturing operations and an appreciation of FMCG / production line experience is desirable

**Hours of Work: 7.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday**
