We are looking for a kitchen catering assistant/helper to support our small catering business based in Aylesbury. The business provides lunch buffet platters to local businesses. We are looking for a hard-working kitchen helper to work on a flexible, part-time basis from Monday to Thursday from 06:00 - 12:00 - specific hours may vary depending on orders for the week.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To complete duties in the kitchen that are necessary to ensure an efficient, hygienic service is provided.
- Take control of food preparation.
- To prepare the orders (sandwiches, wraps and hot foods) as required.
- To clean, wash and dry all kitchen equipment and service items by hand in an efficient manner.
- Ensure Health & Safety/Food Hygiene is adhered to at all times.
- Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes and cutting boards in their respective place and ensuring all work surfaces, floors have been cleaned.
- Be positive and approachable.
- Initial training will be provided.
- Experience working in catering/food industry would be ideal but not essential.

Rate of Pay: £10 per hour

Working pattern: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 to 12:00, however may require flexibility to work shifts on Friday or over the weekend, if required.
