To support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering housekeeping and linen room services to the National Standards for Cleanliness in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and organisational standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, supporting the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
The post holder will work using own initiative within standard operating procedures and work will be checked on a random basis as part of the on-going cleanliness audit process and to ensure cleaning methods are being utilised competently.
The post holder must be able to work both individually and as part of a team.
The duties of this post are not inflexible or exhaustive and will be reviewed periodically and may be changed to be consistent with the grading of the post as the organisation or department develops and following consultation with the post holder.
Housekeeper 37.5 for Hafod Y wennol
Post holder must have experience in both Catering and Domestic as dual role within unit to provide a good nutritional value to patients and have good knowledge of cleaning to make sure unit if keep to high standard.
Hours to cover am and pm shift times 6.30am til 2.30pm & 9.00am til 5.00pm
Covering additional unit Rowan House is essential 8.00am-4.00pm & 10.00am-6.00pm to cover sickness & Leave. use of own vehicle is a must travel expenses are paid when required.
Working shift Pattern to include Bank Holiday and Weekends
Post holder must be flexible to cover other areas within Glanrhyd & Community sites if required (discussed at interview).
Food hygiene certificate required for post.
Flexible approach is required due to service holders needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
