**Homecare Solutions Ltd** is a domiciliary Home care agency that provides care for the elderly in their homes.

We are looking for domiciliary care assistants/ support workers to work within ECCLES M30, WEAST & WORSLEY. **We currently need male carers with their own vehicles but all welcome.**

**Working DAYS AND OR EVENINGS between / from 7am AND** **10.30pm.**

We desire **commitment** to agreed shifts but have a flexible approach to which days or times you can work. We will work with you to achieve your goal and also to meet the client's requirements.

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Personal Care**
- Assist service users with personal needs e.g. washing, shaving, bathing and dressing.
- Assist with toileting needs
- Prepare meals, drinks and assisting service users to eat and drink if required.
- Administering of medication if required.

**Domestic and Social Care**
- Provide assistance with domestic tasks, e.g. shopping, cleaning, and collecting prescriptions.
- Washing and ironing clothes and bed linen
- Generally making sure people are comfortable and warm
- Encouraging social interaction through talking and listening.
- Understand and maintain confidentiality.

**As a Domiciliary Care Worker / Support worker you will be expected to have the following profile**:

- Caring and empathetic personality.
- Care experience preferred but not essential.
- Good quality of English
- spoken and written.
- No experience needed but desirable.
- **Shift patterns can be FULL DAY morning until bed time,**_
- **Shifts can either be**:_
- **MORNING to 6pm**_
- **MORNING**_* _to 2pm_*
- **AFTERNOON TO EVENING : 3pm till 10pm**_

**Full time hours available.**

**The hours you get will be down to your availability and flexibility. We have extra hours available which will suit someone flexible to start early or work either during the day and change to evening if we are short.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 18 months
Part-time hours: 10 - 48 per week

**Salary**: £9.90-£12.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Performance bonus

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff are required to wear a face mask, Aprons and Gloves. All PPE is provided to you by the organisation at no extra cost.
