**Job Title: Social Worker in Child in Need Team**
**These roles are paying up to £38p/h an hour, high pay rates meaning more disposable income at the end of a hard working week.**
In this role you will be undertaking child in need cases NO child protection work and court work
This is a team consisting of a team manager, two assistant team managers, two Advanced practitioners, five social workers and three family support workers. Ultimately, displaying the high level of support you will receive from staff.
The service is based in a modern working environment. This is a newly refurbished central town location for all of Social Services and Education & Early Intervention departments, with technology to support agile working, hot desking, bookable meeting areasand access to a canteen.
**Accommodation Allowance of £100 per week**
Agency worker induction programme to ensure proper introduction to the council, the service itself and the role. Including completion of key mandatory e-learning e.g. H&S, social care complaints, data protection & FOI and introduction to our social caresystems / recording.
Access to development as required to undertake agency placements e.g., Lunch and learn sessions with Social Care colleagues, in addition to mandatory training as part of the departments improvement journey (i.e. mental capacity)
Offering a nurturing and supportive working environment where wellbeing is a high priority for its workforce. Agency workers who are treated as part of the Social Services team with access to supportive managers, peer colleagues and access to wellbeing servicesas provided through the Care First assistance programme.
You do not even need to have worked with in Children in Need before, experience within children would suffice. This is a great opportunity to move away from Child protection & Court work.
