Community Midwifery

Maternity has an exciting opportunity within our community midwifery team.
Our administrators play a key role in supporting our maternity teams; helping us to provide a consistently good service to the people of East Sussex. The role is varied and requires the ability to multi task. You will be in a busy environment.
Vacancy will be based in the Hastings hub but there will be times you will need to work from St Leonards or Bexhill.
Strong MS Office skills will be key to your success, including spreadsheets as will good data inputting skills. Training will be provided for the Maternity and trust IT systems.
Good communication skills is essential as you will be required to answer patient calls and direct them to the appropriate pathway.
You should be flexible and self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times and being a good communicator is also key.
The post is an ideal opportunity for someone with a good level of organisational, administrative and data entry skills to become part of our friendly maternity team.
