**Role overview**

You’ll be at the forefront of helping grow our consumer qualitative business to ensure we are delivering market leading research, answering our client’s business questions with insights that create impact. You would join a tight knit team of researchers, within a larger qualitative team of around 50 people. We have a supportive culture, encouraging sharing of opportunities and support. Our scale and culture provide the scope to develop new ideas, test emerging methodologies, partner with experts from around the world, and to do all this whilst working with the most exciting brands.

**What will I be doing?**

Our research experts provide integrated qualitative research, using traditional methodologies such as focus groups & depth interviews, as well as engaging new digital tools, such as mobile diaries & online communities - and we are now beginning to deploy the use of AI in our work.

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.

**What do I need to bring with me?**

The Associate Director role is key to our mission. We are looking for someone who is passionate and interested in the FMCG sector and can bring this enthusiasm to every brief we receive. You’ll be helping to grow our consumer qualitative business and ensuring that we deliver market leading research - answering our client’s business questions with insights that create impact. To be successful in this, you will need:

- A genuine interest in the FMCG space and an enthusiasm in keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in this sector
- An interest in marketing, branding & advertising, particularly within FMCG.
- Experience and confidence in handling & developing business with clients
- Solid project management, delegation and planning skills.
- The ability to work creatively and think commercially
- To be client focused & with a proven track record in working closely with clients
- Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
- Experience with digital qualitative methodologies
- Have a ‘right first time’ approach
