**Receptionist**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our vibrant team in **Oakridge Care Home, Ballynahinch.**

Oakridge Care Home is a 65 bedded home specialising in frail elderly, residential and dementia care.

**Hours of work**: 20 hours pw
- Monday to Friday

**Rate of Pay**: £11.94 per hour

**Job Duties**:
To undertake a range of office duties, including answering telephone and reception of visitors and others to the home. Demonstrate knowledge of Word Processing to Stage 2 level. Must have good telephone manner and good communication skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Typing/ taking meeting minutes, filing, photocopying, producing documents such as contracts of residency, monitoring supply of stationery products and re-ordering as required.

2. Reception duties including answering telephone promptly and meeting and greeting visitors/professionals to the home.

3. To compile hours worked for employees and input on timesheets on a weekly basis for the purpose of facilitating payroll.

4. Monitor and record occupancy information.

5. Cash handling to include administration of hairdressing funds and receipt of monies, ensuring all cash is held, accounted for and recorded in accordance with home policies and procedures.

7. To be responsible for following all Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Control guidelines and observe personal duty of care in relation to equipment, resources and procedures.

8. To attend training as specified by the Home Manager
