**THE COMPANY**:
My client is a Leading FM Contractor in the UK and other related support services business with an expanding client base across the UK.

They provide Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance to various clients throughout the UK. They do this through their own engineers.

They are now actively looking to recruit a Mobile Electrical Pump Engineer for the Greater London area.

**THE JOB**:
The role is to provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, maintenance and commissioning of pumps stations and pump systems at customer sites across London and surrounding areas.

Other responsibilities will include: _(not an exhaustive list)_
- This role is mainly reactive based work, faults, repairs, PPM on cold water booster pumps, sump pumps and an element of resetting surface water and foul pumps although the main aspect of sewage is carried out by a sub-contractor, although these are forresidential developments the assets are within communal plant rooms, an element is also with commercial buildings / offices.
- Checking, cleaning, servicing, maintenance, and record-keeping to be consistently carried out in line with company procedure
- Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary
- Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times
- Order spares to the laid down procedures.
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individuals’ technical competence and in accordance with current specifications

**THE PERSON**:
To be considered for this position, the following qualifications and papers are required and are essential requirements of the role:

- Electrical qualified to City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 OR City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 & 3 OR NVQ Level 3
- 18th edition qualified.
- Electrical/ Mechanical background.
- Control panel experience is preferred.
- Background in sewage or surface water pumping systems
- Proven Field service experience with electrical/ mechanical background.
- Knowledge and experience of all electrical installations, including wiring, testing, issue written electrical test, minor works reports
- Good interpersonal skills

This is a very busy role and our client are looking for a fully qualified electrician but the person must be happy to carry out basic building fabric maintenance as well as all the electrical work.
