**Engineering Support**

The role of Engineering Support will be to carry out testing and commissioning for a range of clients in the built environment. This includes assisting with building of test rigs, using test instrumentation and assisting with the production of reports forclients. In this position you will be working in a friendly environment as part of the Research, Investigations & Test department.

- **Salary**: Up to £21,000
- **Working Hours**: Monday - Thursday 8:30AM 5:00PM, Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM

**As the Engineering Support, you will be responsible for**:

- Be responsible for housekeeping activities in the laboratory including preparation of instrumentation, test rigs and test samples
- Assist with the construction, maintenance, and operation of test rigs
- Assist with testing of heating, ventilation air-conditioning and refrigeration products and systems
- Assist with carrying out standard laboratory, bespoke site-based investigations, and physical mock-ups
- Assist with reviewing test data and preparing reports
- Ensure that the work of the section is properly documented and filed, complying with formal procedures
- Ensure the tasks undertaken within the Section are performed efficiently and to high technical and quality levels in accordance with the required standards
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements
- Ability to fulfil routine tasks and seek help when and where necessary
- Ability to approach tasks positively with confidence and enthusiasm
- Good Time-Management skills i.e., ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Co-operative attitude to work colleagues
- Pragmatic with a flexible approach
