**Requirements**:

- Degree Qualified within teaching, youth work or other relevant discipline is highly desirable
- A driving licence is an essential requirement (unless a medical reason prevents this)
- Previous experience within a Health & Social Care Trust would be highly advantageous
- Has a proven track record of effective leadership and management of a service in residential childcare, health and/or social care/youth justice/education
- Effective communicator
- Strong organisational & time management skills
- NISCC registration essential
- Fully IT Literate

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the provision of safe, effective person - centred, compassionate care
- Maintain the confidentiality of all information, regarding service users at all times
- Report and accurately record all activities undertaken
- Accountability for safeguarding children and young people from potential risks and harm
- Ensuring that children and young people are cared for in every element of their lives
- Being understanding through meaningful, non-judgemental relationships and respect the dignity, wishes and beliefs of all service users
- Collaborating with your team, external agencies, family members, and specialist departments to achieve the best outcomes for our young people
