Procurement Category Manager - Hampshire - Permanent - £57k - £67k DOE ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Category Manager to join a world leading organisation on a permanent basis. You will join a growing and exciting international business and play a key role in ensuring we deliver costs savings, maximise value and provide a quality service across the organisation. This position will lead a team of 3 Procurement & Contract Managers, you will be responsible for supporting our Finance, HR, Customer & Marketing and Facilities teams. **Responsibilities**: - Responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of all elements of procurement and contract management within your designated category area. - Stakeholder engagement and partnership, internally and externally, is key to the successful delivery of this role to ensure that successful business outcomes are achieved. - Fully understand your category area, using market and industry data to help you develop and implement procurement strategies. - Support the Head of Procurement in developing and leading the team in order to meet the commercial challenges. - Working with our suppliers and Internal Partners, this role is pivotal in ensuring compliance to policy, business engagement, financial savings, performance improvements and added value are realised through strategic thinking. **Requirements**: - Strategic procurement and supplier/contract management experience in the relevant category areas - Strong knowledge of spend analytics and reporting - Experience of procurement strategy and delivery - People leadership - Expertise in PCR's - Proven track record in engaging with and influencing a complex and diverse range of senior stakeholders - The ability to be flexible in your approach to work allocated - Qualified / Part Qualified MCIPS This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
