Live in Carer

**We are currently seeking to recruit Live-in Care Assistants to work within our packages based in and around Powys**

**Objective **To live-in a client’s home and provide a variety of services that enhance the quality of their life.

**Duties**:

- Personal Care - washing, dressing, personal care
- Moving and Handling
- Companionship
- Cooking healthy and nutritious food
- Medication
- Home help such as cleaning

**We are ideally looking for applicants with a full clean drivers licence and a car due to the location**

**Shifts**:
**4 days on and 3 off**

**What we need from you**:

- 6 months care experience required
- Holding a Care Certificate or prepared to complete modules with our Lead Assessor
- Have a Valid Mandatory Training Certificate
- Enhanced DBS, Ideally on the Up Date Service
- Client Commitment and Flexibility
- Desirable: Health and Social Care Qualification (NVQ Level 2
- Desirable: Mental Health Certificate and / or experience would be beneficial along with experience dealing with challenging behaviour

Day range:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
