**About the role**
The IT function within DS Smith has been rapidly evolving in recent times, so that we can fully service a FTSE 100 business with maximum efficiency and high standards. This has come with plenty of challenges and opportunities for growth, and we're lookingfor an IT Audit and Compliance Lead who is ready to take on some of those challenges. This is a new position, allowing you to make your own impact in the organisation and share your knowledge and experience with stakeholders inside and outside DS Smith.
In this role, you'll be evaluating I&T processes and I&T-supported business processes to make sure they're compliant with laws, regulations and contractual requirements. We'll need assurance that requirements have been identified and complied with, and youwill collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to achieve this.
While there are various opportunities for you to create your own processes, we'll also ask you to build on existing processes and work with Legal, Internal Audit and other teams to help the function and wider business develop. You'll create compliance framework,taking DS Smith on a new journey when it comes to managing supplier compliance.
**About you**
- Internal Audit experience
- Experience of delivering Governance, Risk and Compliance services, ideally in large, multinational organisations
- Very personable - you'll always be dealing with senior stakeholders, teams across DS Smith, and external contacts
- IT security background would be highly advantageous
- A curious and enthusiastic personality, with eagerness to take on new challenges
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
