**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a key member of an established and globally distributed development team, you will be responsible for testing our industry-leading technology platform. As a QA lead/tester you will be expected to adopt a leadership position within the team, helping to shape the future direction of the testing of platform and services. You will have developed a breadth of experience over several years working in similar roles and will be keen to share your hard-won knowledge.
**KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Implement test strategies across Webgains products.
- Lead testing activities across QA team.
- Authoring and Maintaining test documentation.
- Coordinate Release testing and help complete test activities including manual testing.
- Setting up and maintaining test tools.
- Review and help manage test environments and test data.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Extensive knowledge of testing techniques including Automation
- Significant experience in leading test efforts
- Significant experience with test automation tools for example: WebdriverIO, Selenium, Cypress
- Previous experience of working with MySQL and SQL
- Previous working experience of Manual, Exploratory, Smoke and Regression testing
- Previous working experience with authoring test cases, documentation plans and progress reports
- Previous working experience of setting up and maintaining test frameworks
- Some experience with coordinating test efforts
- Risk based testing knowledge
- Agile, kanban development experience
- Experience with Browserstack
**DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience of using Java script/ Typescript
- Knowledge in BDD (Behaviour Driven Development)
- Testing React based SPAs.
- AWS (or cloud computing in general)
- MySql, ElasticSearch
**Salary**: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
