**The Role - Grounds Maintenance Operative**:
This role is for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will achieve the below tasks in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, in accordance with given schedules and company health and safety policies and procedures. They must enjoy working outdoors andbe confident to work in a lone working environment:
**Role responsibilities - Grounds Maintenance Operative**:

- Operate machinery including ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimmers
- Grass cutting
- Strimming
- Hedge cutting, pruning
- Weedkilling
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment

**Requirements - Grounds Maintenance Operative**:

- Self-motivated
- Flexible approach
- Punctual and reliable
- Good physical health/fitness is important for this role
- Able to take instruction and work to a schedule
- Able to complete required paperwork relevant to the task e.g. vehicle checks, spraying logs
- Experience in grounds maintenance & horticultural practices (3 years preferred but less will be considered)

**Qualifications - Grounds Maintenance Operative**:

- Full, current, clean driving licence
- Current PA1 & PA6 certificate
- Certificates in the use of brush cutters, trimmers, pedestrian mowers and ride on mowers
- Current CSCS Card / ROLO qualification
- References required and a DBS check may be processed once employed._
