_**Job Description**_

A reservations agent to work in-house with the management team of the hostel to support day-to-day operations and financial matters.**Responsibilities**:_
- **Finance Department Support**:_
- Prepare and organise invoices
- Any other admin tasks as required
- **Reservations Department Support**:_
- Respond to all guest requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Check reservations made the day prior to ensure all comments, billing instructions and deposits are correctly detailed on the reservation.
- Group Management; Converting enquires into sales, securing method of payment, inputting rooming lists, confirming meal options (with our offsite venues where applicable), monitoring cancellation and release dates.
- Identify and communicate any potential sales leads or corporate business bookings to help drive direct business moving forward.
- **Requirements**:_
- Good organizational skills
- Detail - oriented
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software preferable
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of Mews or other PMS

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £23,400.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edinburgh, EH1 1JR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
