**About the Position**

The position is an associate director role reporting directly to the Milken Institute’s Chief Global Strategist, while also coordinating with the Milken Institute’s Senior Director of Development in London and the London-based development team.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Chief Global Strategist to identify key UK and European economic and policy issues for the Milken Institute for which to research and develop solutions;
- Identify and develop relationships with key academic, think tank, NGO and government organizations with which for the Milken Institute to partner in research, events and hybrid content such as financial innovation labs;
- Identify and engage proposed speakers and partners based in the UK and Europe for Milken Institute events both in London and worldwide;
- Coordinate with London-based team to help develop topics for and hold briefings and events for UK-based stakeholders, and to develop and proposed European-focused topics for Milken Institute events globally;
- Coordinate with the US-based government affairs team to identify and recruit senior UK and European government officials for the Milken Institute annual Global Conference in Los Angeles.

**Requirements**:

- College graduate in public policy, economics, political science or related field, Master’s Degree strongly preferred;
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in public policy, either in government, non-government organization or the private sector connecting to the government;
- Ability to produce concise and directed research both in written form and in presentations, particularly for policy and business leaders;
- Experience interacting with and communicating with senior officials;
- Experience in providing briefings and engagements for stakeholders either inside government or with the public;
- Ability to manage projects workflow/priorities and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work as part of a team and perform under deadline pressure.
